A great win for Sparsholt U11A team against Chandlers Ford and Compton. Sparsholt batted first reaching 123 for the loss of only one wicket. Batting performances of note include Joseph Cook retiring on 30, Thomas Ley 21 not out and Elliott Colyer 30 not out. After a rain delay Chandlers Ford and Compton were put into bat. Bowling with a very wet ball Sparsholt struck early in the third over with Elliott Colyer taking two wickets. There were wickets for Thomas Ley, Jacob Hartley and Alex Kipps and superb run outs from Robert West and Elliott Colyer. A great team performance saw Chandlers Ford and Compton restricted to 86. Man of the match was Elliott Colyer. |
