Indoor Side win back to back promotions

Sparsholt's indoor side have been promoted back to divison one after a number of years absence. Finishing runnners up to St Cross last season Andy Worth's side went unbeaten in division two. Regular turn outs from Richard Vaughan who kept admirably behind the stumps , Jon Vokes who bowled with pace and bounce and found different ways of getting out. Stuart Tognarelli who batted in his usual style and also managed a few overs. Tom Foster who batted consistently and bowled well , Andy Worth who defied his age to get runs and wickets.Lewis Dunford who provided the foundations of each innings, Jon Sankey who managed to play inventive shots , run between the wickets and bowl. Other appearances from Greg Whiting, Ed Ellis, Jon Foster and Ollie Thornton all providing perfomances to keep the side on track.
The team thank Tony Edwards for scoring every week showing loyalty and committment..
The first round of the cup is on the 21st March vs Winchester University.
