The new season is approaching

As the summer and first game approaches there are a few things happening at the club
Groundforce was a great success lots of improvements and tidying up done by over 30 members who attended throughout the day.
The groundstaff have been busy cutting the outfield and square which is looking in great condition given the recent weather.
The club tour to Guernsey takes place this weekend with many on the 8.30 flight on Friday morning , livestreams maybe available on the clubs Facebook page.
Outdoor practice begins this Wednesday from 6.30 for seniors.
We have our first fixtures the following Saturday , a friendly away at Sarisbury on the Saturday and the first round of the village knock out on the 29th away at Liphook last years regional champions.
The league season starts the following weekend.

The club Fantasy cricket competition is taking place again this year all you have to do is pick 6 players for 35 million . To sign up and pick team click on the attached link

Finally we are looking to make Friday evenings more of a club night with all stars, women’s cricket and nets available for anyone to practice. We are looking at the possibility of running a “stiff guy yoga” class on the outfield for anyone who suffers stiffness in shoulders , back and hips if you are interested in taking part please email the Chairman on chairman@sparsholtcc.co.uk.
